CISL Governance StructureCISL is a division of the Information Resources and Technology (IRT) of the School of Medicine. CISL is directed by the Associate Dean for Immersive and Simulation-based Learning, who reports to the Senior Associate Dean for IRT. Because ISL is related strongly to education, clinical care, and research, the Associate Dean for ISL interacts directly with other Senior Associate Deans and as appropriate with the Dean of the School of Medicine. CISL’s programmatic and administrative functions are conducted by the CISL Director/Associate Dean for Immersive and Simulation-based Learning and by CISL’s Program Director. Clerical support for CISL is provided by IRT. The CISL Program Director interfaces with administrative and staff personnel from other organizations as necessary. The Associate Dean conducts operational planning and decision-making in conjunction with a CISL Executive Committee, that meets monthly. A CISL Advisory Committee provides periodic review and advice to the CISL Executive Committee. ![]()
